In the app — immediately

Open Profile → Account & sync → Delete account and confirm. The server deletes immediately and for good:

• your profile with name, profile picture and all details,
• your friendships, requests, whom you follow and who follows you,
• your published plans with their ratings, and your own ratings,
• your leaderboard entry,
• the cloud copy of your workouts, plans, settings and body data,
• the sign-in of all your devices.

What stays: everything stored on your devices — the app keeps working without an account. Blocks that others have placed on you remain. Reports others made about your profile are kept for review for at most 180 days; your own reports about others stay without your name until the same expiry. Your Google account is not affected.

Without the app

Send an email to support.aura.wecker@gmail.com with the subject “Delete account” and your Aura ID (format AURA-XXXX-XXXX; you find it in the app under “Account & sync”). We delete the account with everything listed above and confirm it to you, within one month at the latest.

If you no longer know your Aura ID: we do not store your email address and therefore cannot match an account without its Aura ID. Install the app, sign in with the same Google account and delete the account there. An account that no device has synced with for 400 days is deleted by the server automatically anyway.

Deleting only some data

Under “Account & sync” you can also delete only the cloud copy, or withdraw your consent for body data — then only the cloud copy of your body data is deleted. You change or remove profile details under “Edit profile”. More in the privacy policy.
